Christmas Party Peek

I love Christmas! My husband and I are planning a small gathering for friends this Holiday Season and I am SO excited! Neither of us have a celebration to go to for work so we are creating our own!

During a wind storm this fall a TREE fell on our house!!! (Well it was a small tree... but still... a TREE!) Beware to any trees who may feel the need to fall over next fall - I will make Christmas Ornaments out of you! (P.S. Don't look too closely at our light fixture - I'm sure that there is dust up there!)

Do you sense a woodsy theme? No these are not from another tree casualty (I bought them at Superstore - hee hee) Some wonderful person drowned them in cinnamon and they smell divine!

An old standby - Candy Bouquets! Decorative AND Yummy!

Aren't these just the cutest stockings?!?!? I love this stamp set from CTMH - I'm attaching mini candy canes to each for party favours!

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to scroll down to check out my calendar of upcoming Workshops! Hope to see you soon!

2nd Birthday Party - Dr. Seuss Theme

OMG this party was SO much fun
(and a lot of work!) :P
My twin boys turn two on October 26th and we just celebrated their 2nd Birthday "Seussical" style this past weekend...

Cameron as Thing One

(he's the only one that would actually keep his hair on)

Some things enjoying cake

Thing 2 with a 'Truffula Tree' stuffed in his mouth!

Thing 1 with an icing 'stash

"It's my party and I'll cry if I want to!"

Green eggs and ham of course!

One fish, two fish dish
I poured red jello into cups to set, then had blue jello in pans to set, then cut the blue jello into cubes, then layered everything on top of the red jello

Schnoodles
I pierced hotdog cubes with uncooked spaghetti noodles then boiled them all together.

Truffula Trees
I put my batter into cupcake pans, inverted cones over top of the batter then baked as usual.

Stars on Sticks
I baked these little wooden dowels right into the sugar cookies

The green eggs certainly didn't last long!

Good Morning to a birthday boy from Horton and Morton!
All murals were hand drawn and painted by Moi :P

Party Favours

More Party Favours
I made thank you boxes with little cards inside that the kids could colour

The Grinch
We played 'pin the heart on the grinch' (we all know that his heart is two sizes too small!) He looks really impressed doesn't he?
